Debugging openMP in eclipse

Postby hildy » Tue Aug 19, 2008 8:21 am

When I debug a parallelized program in eclipse the variable values inside parallel clauses is unreadable. Instead of a list of the current variables you only see one item, .omp_data_i. I've browsed around and found the ptp plugin (parallel tools platform) for eclipse. This plugin seems promising but as of yet I still have the same problem. It seems like it is by default set to handle openMPI, however I read that it should have openMP coverage. Does anyone here know how to install the ptp with openMP settings, and by that be able to read every threads private variable values when in debug mode?
