Hi,
is there anything done about providing a ABI standard?
I found: http://www.nic.uoregon.edu/iwomp2005/Talks/meadows.pdf page 14:
"There is no ABI for OpenMP"
"* Even on the same hardware; e.g., PGI, Intel, Microsoft, and Pathscale
all have x86-64 compilers; can you mix and match OpenMP code compiled
with different compilers?"
"* There’s a gcc project to do OpenMP. Do we really want another gcc
compatibility race?"
OpenMP is now supported in GCC 4.2 for C and Fortran ("GOMP").
I'm asking for the ABI standard as it was proposed on a
Linux-Standard-Base list that a definition of the OpenMP ABI should be
included in the Linux Standard Base. The natural choice would be of
cause using GCC/GOMP.
